Over the past few months I have been searching for something else. Something to bring out my creative self, reconnect or re-invent myself, be more positive, fun and happy. The most important thing about starting this blog is to find “Time”.
Some days I feel like my life is just running on autopilot. You know the drill…Get up, go to work, come home, get through the witching hour, go to bed and hit replay the next day. On the weekends I mix it up a little, by being home to do the house work, shopping, wrangle the kids or referee their fights and oh, guess what, do it all again the following week!
This is why I have created Finding Time in the Chaos. The chaos of my life and the idea of finding time to myself, time to be the mum I want to be, time to play and have fun with the kids, time to go out with the family and god forbid, go out with just hubby, time to do all the things I love, time to plan, time to go away, time to do the mundane things like clean, file, wash the clothes and fold them, time to exercise, time to meal plan and time to just be me.
I came across the concept of setting a ‘word of the year’ rather than setting New Years Resolutions. I loved this concept, as it spoke to me more than setting resolutions which would have failed by the end of January. You guessed it, my ‘word’ is “TIME”.
I AM going to find “TIME” whether that be finding the elusive 25th hour of the day or by creating ways that I can save time.
So if you would like to save time in your busy world then jump on in and follow along on Facebook or Pinterest and sign up to my newsletter which will have tips, tricks and fun challenges so that we can all FIND TIME IN THE CHAOS
